Where to buy a new prop in Victoria/island?

Need a new stainless prop. Cracked a fin on my aluminum prop today. That fin was already slightly bent so I figure I was on borrowed time. Boat is going in for a 500hr service next week so I'll mention it to the shop but I'm not worried. Anyways, need a stainless prop for my Yamaha 115 4 stroke. Best place to get one in Victoria or on the island for that matter? Prop was a 13x19K. I posted about this back in 2020 and got some good feedback.

**Your 19p prop is way under revving and is slipping badly at 25.63 %
Your 17p prop is slipping 25.78 %
Both about the same. Your slip should be down around 10 %

@SteelyDan gave me some good numbers as my prop is slipping. WOT was 5900RPM @ 37mph. Ideally looking for somewhere to try props if that is such a thing. Otherwise my current prop gave me good numbers and handled well. Thanks in advance for any leads.

I used to deal with West Isle in Sidney, but he is gone. Recently, I've had stainless repairs done at Vector in Sidney and they've been good - quick and repairs seem good. They also deal in new props.

Slip does seem very high. Main thing is to make sure that the prop achieves rated rpm at WOT. If you can't get up at least to 5500-5700rpm range (even fully loaded), you are lugging the engine.

Prop tech has come quite a ways, consensus seems to be that the Mercury Enertia is a great all-around stainless prop. Its not a speed demon but seems to be optimized for fuel economy at typical cruising speed. Yours would likely take the standard Enertia, not the Enertia Eco - which has a large diameter and only fits larger gearcases.

I believe that its common to drop one 1" of pitch when switching from aluminum to stainless due to reduced blade flex, but if you are running 5900rpm its hard to say if you should drop to 17P. I'd want somewhere in the neighborhood of 5700rpm WOT with the boat loaded. Could go either way, and likely depends on how the prop tests out on your boat in the water.

Keep an eye on Marketplace, there are usually lots to choose from. I bought a pair for my boat, one was unused and the other was in like new condition. $350 ea
