Where Is Hazy Dawn?

Where Is Hazy Dawn?
Back in 2023 I donated my 10‘ Davidson rowboat, named Hazy Dawn, to the Carihi Fly Fishing class here in Campbell River. Mr. Pisterzi seen below with it on Good Friday of that year.

Mr. Pisterzi, originator of the fly-fishing group and the teacher involved with it then took the boat to Carihi where it was put into a compound area where boats and equipment were kept.

I’m told students used the boat for lake fishing until the end of that school year, June of 2023.
When school opened in September of 2023 and the flyfishing class started up all the focus was on salmon and river fishing, so boats weren’t used and Mr. Pisterzi has told me he cannot recall seeing Hazy Dawn during that period of time. Perhaps someone else did.
He left teaching in November of 2023 so was not around after that time, but most likely boats were not in use at that time of year.
A new teacher arrived in February of 2024, Dr. Mulski, and she did an inventory of boats and gear and told me that Hazy Dawn was not there at that time.
The class had a couple of tin boats that had been donated, fixed up and renamed, and they show up in June of 2024 as they were used in a student outing then. They were named Haig-Brown and Van Egan. I’m unsure as to whether those two boats and perhaps others are still used by the class as I see no mention of them after June of 2024.

It was that outing with photos of the two tin boats but none of Hazy Dawn that alerted me recently to the mystery of her whereabouts today.
I very simply would like to know what happened to her after June of 2023.
I don’t want her back as I have no use for her, but I’m upset that the students of the class don’t have the opportunity to enjoy her these days. She was a great little rowboat and perfect for smaller lakes.
She is 10‘ long, white fiberglass hull with a blue interior and gunwales.
Her serial number is 64.
There were oars, a couple of red anchors and some lines donated with her also.
If any parents who may read this have kids that were in the fly-fishing class of 2023 or 2024 and saw or used Hazy Dawn or know where she went, I’d like to know.
Even if she was stolen, I’m not into finding the thieves or prosecuting them or anything like that.
I just want to know what happened to her.

Thanks for any info.

NOTE: This was a post I put on a Facebook group, and I thought I'd throw it up here just in case any of you happen to see her in your fishing adventures.

I am trying to not bother the people at the High School but am also slightly dismayed at the lack of concern shown by them over the boat going missing.

Ah well.

Take care.
