Depends on fishery, location and time of year .....but all these are my fav's. Geen glo for sure ... Army T, cop c, night rider, Famin hans, flamin finney, chrome/green, Punk skunk, blood bones, Kitchen sink and Bad attitude ....and even wonder bread can be great ! The FH, FF, BB and PS are Gypsy's though.

Big: Tomic, Titan, Wonder, Superior, Clendon Stewart, Matrix, 6.0 Coyote watermelon
Medium: anchovy; hootchie; 3.5 or 4.0 blue and silver, green glow, watermelon, cop car Coyotes
small: coho killer, squirt

If you are like me you will buy many and use few since other things work as well or better.

JAC - it really does make a difference where you fish and what you are targeting. Most often you are trying to match the size of the feed that the fish are presently eating.
So earlier in the season smaller is better 3-4" or so later in the season and again depending on where you fish (inside or outside, north or south) you can fish the same size right up to moster 7" if you can find em. I believe the bigest coyote's now are the size 6 spoons. These aren't really a 6" spoon more like a 5", also I find that this size (the size 6) gets bent out of shape real good when the fish chew on it. So you can think of this as a good or bad thing, if you just want the spoon to catch you a fish or two, no problem it will, but you're mostly likely going to have to rebend it often especially if you get some bigger fish snack'n on it. I have a couple in the size 6 that litterally got folded in half after the fish chomped down on it. Nice thing is the spoons are really light so it's no bid deal to rebend 'em just make sure you get it swimming good again.
If I only could take one pattern anywhere on the island I'd probably go with the Cop Car, other spoons can outfish it but it works for me just about everywhere. If I could buy more...I would, and tubber made some great recommendations.

Rookie you mean like this: TOMIC RIGGING:

Nope never have, but I have heard of people doing that.

Coyote:- Green/Glow,Copcar, Party Girl( U.S.-made- not Chinese), Mongoose, and 3.5" Blue/Silver.

Matrix:- Black/Silver ( when they made them with Holograph chrome pattern on back:- all the ones I see now are just straight chrome on back).

Silver Horde:- "Irish creme", "Cookies and creme". (Built-in glow and U.V.)

Zurtro:- Money, Rosco, (Built-in glow and U/V.). Also Purple haze.

S2B:- Metallic Green, Purple haze.

Haven't tried the Tomic Cop car yet....but I have to admit it looks good.

Overall, Cop Car patterns were good for me last year.

One day offshore reny the coho were so think you couldn't even get a 7in plug out ,i trolled by Wayne Moss he yelled at me to put two of his big spoons together , i kinda laughed but at the same time rigged it up , had a look at it in the water and laughed at myself as i sent this 13inc deal down to the depths, didn't take 10mins and i got my biggest spring that year 48lbs. Thanks again Wayne. guess were always leaning.

That's a helluva good idea. Kicking myself for not thinking of it before.

Putting a couple of smallish spoons in line like that is definitely going to be tried this season.

Better yet as Holmes suggested a small one behind a larger one.

Thanks everyone! I'll give it a try this summer too.

When putting 2 spoons together - do you usually put the same pattern spoons together? Have you had success putting different contrasting patterns/colors together?
