Hard to tell the condition of the reel from the photo. They sell for new at Tyee marine in campbell River for $400 Can.

sounds like a good deal, i paid $80 for one a while back..
nice moocher, not so good as a downrigger reel.

Why do you say that?

I find the drag has to be tightened down to keep the reel from
releasing line tension. (especially when fishing deep)
when a fish hits, i have to back off the drag right away
so theres not too much pressure on the fish.
