Hey guys, looking at making a jump to a larger aluminum boat and hoping to get some help on an asking price for my current boat.

Purchased new in 2018 - defiance san juan 220. 250hrs on main 200hp suzuki 2018, approx 400 hrs on 9.9 kicker. 2018 tuff aluminum trailer. Stereo, hds 9 carbon, radio, espar heater, rear steering station, sink, fridge, cuddy and table folds into separate bed. Everything works and has been well taken care of.

Let me know what you guys think this should sell for in this market? Thanks in advance..

shes a beauty what length ?

The model is a 220 so it's 22 ft from the front to the stern, 24.5 with the pod 27 from pulpit to end motor

check the Thunderbird page to see what they have been selling them for, I saw a few of them over the last year.
I know I saw those pop up a while ago but they were super high hr (1000hr+) rentals with no trailer for what I remember was 100k....

My opinion is worth what your paying for it. If I was on the Island I would do 98k in Vancouver I would do 108k. Almost nothing comparable out there but these three are the closest in size.

Thanks for taking the time to post and provide your opinion. Agreed, it's hard to compare as there aren't many cabin style fiberglass in that size range and at the end of the day it will come down to whoever is looking to buy it to do there own research if the cost is fair in the market.

I know that a new one is for sale in Campbell river ( cr boatland) and it's $189000 plus tax similarly rigged to mine. The one comparable in the US (high rental hrs) is 70k usd with no trailer so by the time you get it up here, convert to cdn and pay the tax man your around 103k with no trailer( +15k new), then add a kicker and other items like a Heater etc your around 120-130k.

Yeah, tons of value if someone is looking for a steering station and kicker etc. I find that people are really focused on the base price and a lot of accessories they undervalue even if we spent 15k just one aspect, like a kicker or electronics. Just helping sell a few older things these days, not too many people with free cash flow, another member just sold his Aluminum for a good price. If you aren't in a hurry try the 129k you can always take it off for a week or a month and relist for 119 or 108.

100% I had a number in mind that I thought I'd put it up for. 5 years ago I was pretty dialed in to the market as I was hyper looking for boats all the time
...the sickness was cured when I bought this boat and haven't been looking at boats until recently. Appreciate your insights, I'm definitely not in a panic to sell but will likely put it up to see if someone's interested to get into a solid boat for fishing/cruising.
