Have never observed one of the Whale Tale Flags they are talking about flying on a boat. Don't know where you could even get one.
I have had both Grays and Humpbacks come up fairly close to the boat in JDF. They certainly don't appear to be as situationally aware as the Killer Whales are with their sonar.
