West Vancouver....2009, 2010, 2011, 2012

I wonder.. wouldn't more of them survive if they were bigger when they are released?

Take only what you need.

I'm ready to catch a few of these fish now.

I like them a bit larger than that myself, nice flip off the dock releases.
you can bet they're a little bigger now, that was back in may 07 and 08

Which dock was that? Dundrave? I may need to take a few passes nearby. ;)

The dock was at the fisheries. The return....3% if we are lucky.

Will we see some of these this year?

YOU BETCHA! :) It's going to be a FANTASTIC SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER! YAHOOOOOOOOOO!

Last year was supposed to be the first return of Ocean released chinook and last year was the best fishing near the cap that folks can remember. There were days that the fish at the cap mouth ran upstream, so it was lean, however, some guides are starting to think that the "next wave" may have been holding further up the shoreline where they were released. This is great if it is true. Means the Gong Show at the cap mouth can spread out. I will try fishing near the Pink Palace when it is slow at the cap mouth! Keep this here! lol our little secret!

PS. Bagged 6 fish today. Biggest was 17.5. (where and how are top secret)

Cheers,

Brad

Good idea to keep it secret because we will all run over there tomorrow and clean it out.
