Is it normal to have a cloud of water vapour coming out of the outboard exhaust after the engine is warmed up and running on water intake muffs at home?
My brand new Merc 150 was spraying a fair bit of water from the exhaust port (at idle) this summer It turned out to be a slightly stuck thermostat (salt). I removed it and cleaned it up and it's been good ever since. I now flush a little longer.
