WARNING theft activity at our boat. This guy might try to hit other marinas.

One of the things he took was my home made gaff I was so proud of. If this pops up anywhere let me know. It's one of a kind so easy to identify as it has a coin in the top end 😆

What a douche bag, great pic’s, hope someone recognize s him. Hope you didn’t lose anything that was hard to replace. What Marina are you at?

I know what you can use that gaff for now!!!what a A**hat what marina was this at?

Now, will the cops do anything? I feel sorry for them as well, I’m sure they would like to but let’s be honest, property theft isn’t a priority with all the other crap going on. Hopefully the fishing community can come together and ensure this thief can’t sell his stolen goods. That will at least make theft less profitable.

tell the cops that if they dont make an example out of him, we will. they love that stuff.. put him away for his own protection. he may want them to.

In the words of my father inlaw "that guy should be shot with a ball of his own ****! "

****** you can have that clear evidence and still nothing will be done. Best case you may recover your gear if they can get to him before it is sold.

@Hot-Streak what part of the island is this douchebag doing this in? I see others asking what marina but you haven't answered that question so assume you wanna keep that private?? Doesn't help us know where he is, would be nice to know.

Also curious what camera system you're using as the other members are too.
Is itconnected to satellite, cell, marina wifi, shore power, or battery? Great pictures and we could all benefit from having security cameras like that.

So back to his old habits maybe drop him off in the straight without the life jacket .....
good old walk the plank

Sorry everyone for not answering. its been a busy day.

UPDATE
RCMP Marine Det has all the info now. I doubt much can happen even if they catch the guy as he as a long record of doing this. Best that can happen is we now know his face and can keep an eye out for each other.

I am apart of the CFB power boat club and I was the one who had lead a project to upgrade our camera system that also sends alerts etc. Anyone wanting more info on the cameras and set up PM me. Just busy with filing all the info with police etc.

shoot me a message and I'll give you the details and setup of the camera system. this my not be the right place to do a tech discussion

Catch and Release at its finest....seems to me ol Carney committed to addressing this in his public meeting today...that would mean they repeal sections of C-75 which was the start of the whole mess thanks to the Liberals...."simplify the forms of release that may be imposed on an accused" - code for catch and release.

"(a) modernize and clarify interim release provisions to simplify the forms of release that may be imposed on an accused, incorporate a principle of restraint and require that particular attention be given to the circumstances of Aboriginal accused and accused from vulnerable populations when making interim release decisions, and provide more onerous interim release requirements for offences involving violence against an intimate partner;"
