7mm Mag. is a great cartridge. You can load them down for deer or up for Elk or even Moose.

You should see what a Nosler Partition bullet will do to the hind leg on a Mule Deer at 25 yards! Through the hip, out the front, re-enter under the ribs and end up near the front shoulder. Most impressive! [xx(]

Like Jim says, great caliber, I shot a huge ram in Alberta at what we determined must of been 400 yards. From past experience if you reload your own ammo you might have to use a small base die with the A-Bolt. Certainly not a big deal, just one more step in reloading and an additional small cash output for the extra die. The A-Bolt would be a great first gun........
