WANTED: Hali Rig

Looking to increase my fishing arsenal yet again. I am looking for a decent hali rod/reel, can be together or separate. I would prefer a large single action (like an Alvey) to the standard hali winch. I'm not made of money, but I don't mind paying for quality... if the quality and the price are right. Cheers!

I'm in vic and have a Shimano TLD 20 (level wind with a lever drag system) paired with a rino rod $100.

You may find if you skimp on the little things, when the big things come along, sometimes hind sight is 50/50. If you run inexpensive stuff, you may rely too heavily on luck to where skill has a breaking point lower down the line. just my .02

If your wiling to spend a bit of money on them i bought a few of them Avet LX reels so far no problems withs it and i love them. I bought mine at harbor channler
