Ford changed the body style (and bed dimensions) of the F 150's in 1997. Caps prior to that date (and after 2003) will not fit the '98 model I have. Thanks for the suggestions so far.

Hi Folks...

"Might" have found a black one (wanted color match, but has proven extremely difficult to find). A Buddy has one on hand, but is seeking a new truck this weekend. Should this canopy not fit the new ride, I may be in Luck...
Will post here either way...

So, for now, still casting about...

Located in Port Alberni. Can and will travel for the right fit.

Box is 80 inches long, and ~ 6 feet width at the cab - tapered of course after that following the changes made in '97.
Canopies that fit are for the F 150's shortbox "Fleetside" 1997 - 2003.
