Wanted: Evinrude Prop

Hi all,

Looking for an Evinrude/BRP prop. Interested in standard rotation, either a Rebel or Cyclone with TBX hub, 17P.

Currently running a BRP SSP with a 15P. Prop grips extremely well but is more of a neutral/bow lifter and I want to try something that can run a bit faster and provide a bit of stern lift. Willing to trade if anyone is looking to reduce pitch (mine is in excellent shape).

Located in lower mainland/Vancouver.

Thanks for the offer - I've got a 19P aluminum spare sitting under a seat (likely came with the motor originally). Previous owner went from 19P Alum to 15P stainless, but should have gone for the step inbetween...

Any particular feedback on the BRP stainless props. As I mentioned, I'm looking for a stern lift prop. I've heard Cyclone for sure, and likely Rebel as well.

I've said this before, but the process for buying a prop is terrible - you drop $1000 on a hope and a prayer and then try to convince yourself that its what you wanted.

I can't comment on the stainless but I can tell you I went to a 4 blade aluminum on my 150hp on a 17.2 hourston and the stern lift is significant, I had to shift a bit of weight around in the boat to accommodate the change. I also increased cruise speed 3-4 knots at the same rpm over the 3 blade. I'm brain cramping on the brand name of the prop and the boat isn't where I'm currently at but eventually I'll post that info for you.

The cyclone is a wicked prop. Probly my personal favorite 4 blade out there. Not cheap but if you want a prop that does it all that's the one.

Thanks for the recommendations.

FYI, watch out when posting wanted ads. I was almost catfished. Got a DM from a 'guest' account with a lead. When I reached out by email to the contact that was provided, he responded offering me the prop I was looking for. It felt fairly natural, since the original contact was with a lead, not a direct offer.

In any case, I googled the email address provided - linked back to someone reporting as scam on another forum.

When I asked for a photo of the prop, they sent me one - but it was the wrong prop (since scammer has no idea about props), and when I reverse image searched the photo they provided, it was from an ebay ad from a different state (scammer claimed he was a parts seller in Florida, ebay ad was from north east).

Anyway, just to flag the obvious - when you post a wanted ad be careful. Its like a lure for scammers, they know you want something and have money to spend.
