Wanted - Daiwa Samurai 10' 6" Mooching Rods

I am looking for any Daiwa Samurai 10' 6" mooching rods.

Oak Bay Marina sold a pile of them at one of their garage sales back in the early 90's.

Bob's Fishing Barn on the Sunshine Coast in Roberts Creek. He's always got lots on hand at very reasonable price. He scored them back in the day from the fish camps.

RC, I have one 10'6" Super glass (SSG90) Samurai I am not using anymore. All guides are there and in decent shape except one guide that has the teflon liner popped out so should be replaced. The cork is not bad for its age but a few chips here and there. I also have the upper section from another SSG90 that looks in good shape.

i think bob's barn has about at least 12 that i gave him a couple of years ago
most needed a rebuild or new guides but finding one in tip top shape is going to be a challenge.

Thanks all for the information.

I have been keeping mine fishable with alot of work and its time to find some new ones. I have fished lots of rods but my Samurai's were always my lucky go to ones with the biggest fish.

I still have 2 - SSG 90's as back ups , just had em rebuilt , like new again
must be almost 20 years old now , great rods..
