Wait time for new MMSI Number

I requested a new MMSI number from industry Canada 2 weeks ago, I got a confirmation email right away that they got my application. Haven't heard a thing since. How long have you guys waited in the past for a new MMSI number to be issued?

Only one business day but I bet due to COVID things may be messed up for them. I know it is with lot's of these kinds of things. Try calling them and ask. Leave a message if there's an option for that.

I applied for mine April 19 this spring and received it on April 21. Frankly, I was shocked.

I’d submit a follow up request. In your confirmation of application email there should be someone to contact and follow up with?? Also-stupid question - did you check your junk mail box? Could be there....or....TGB...typical government behaviour.
