As the title reads - I'm in need of an awesome mechanic! I've got a 29' Striper with twin D4-225s and I'd like to get them overhauled. Super engines but have had some intermittent issues lately and figured I should get some recommendations of what i should do/could do. They have been very well maintained, I'm just looking for an expert to give them a checkup.
I'm also having some nutty electrical problems onboard. I've got 5 batteries on the boat, all 12V. Port, Starboard, House, Genset and Bow Thruster. All on a trickle charger when I'm at the dock. Over the last 2 weeks I've lost 3 batteries. All of a sudden. Maybe it's a coincidence but I feel like I've got phantom draws happening and I'm not handy or knowledeable enough to figure it out.
Any advice or help appreciated!
