Victoria area lakes trout fishing

Can anyone recommend a lake in the Victoria area suitable to bring kids with a good chance of catching something this time of year? (From shore)
I used to have decent luck at prospect and ok luck at elk but it’s been over 10 years since I have done any fresh water fishing.

Read the article on Lake Restocking. Apparently there is a fishing dock at Porier Lake and you may pick up some other ideas.

There are a couple fishing piers on Langford Lake that are very popular. People use power bait for the most part right on bottom. it is a bit of a sit and wait for the bite fishery, which can get tedious at times for the young ones, but there are some decent trout caught this way!

Durrance has a wharf and a few little shore spots. Usually a fairly peaceful place.

Lookout lake is fun too. Very small lake in Langford.
