Often done well @ the Bell Buoy late in the season for Coho but most of them seem to be unmarked hatchery fish (not really wild) and have to be released.
As long as you are outside Vancouver harbour line out of area 28 (also outside of Howe Sound) you can keep 1 unmarked Coho of your 2 Coho limit this year, since June 27th (in area 29-1 thru 29-5) . The Bell Bouy being very near that line or actually maybe just a fish scale outside that line (from Atkinson to Pt Grey).
Heres a photo of a couple unmarked Coho from a week ago fishing QA to just south of T10. Some of them come in xtra large size! I have also run into schools of chum in that area too and that can be exciting with mutiple hook ups suddenly happening after a slow spell. Farther south past Sandheads and Coal port can be great for Coho but hatchery adipose clipped retention only for Coho once you are in that area.
