Used Kicker Recommendations

After a few disappointing times out with my kicker (mid 90s honda 15), I've started to toss the idea around getting a newer-used kicker.

What I'm really looking for is if there is anything I should avoid during my search (brands with reliability concerns etc...). The used market is pushing me towards 2005-10 models. Electric start preferred - remote controls would be the dream. Sadly the budget isn't there for a new one.

I would look at a used 9.9 Yamaha. You can't really go wrong with Yamaha and they sip fuel
