Trolling motor/battery setup

Hello from Nanaimo!

My boat is an older 14’ Whaler with a newish Suzuki 30hp 4-stroke. My main fishing activity is trolling Great Central Lake, so I bought a little Minn Kota. My main battery already has my electronics running off it so it’s a bit crowded; I was thinking of adding a second battery and wondering what some considerations are. My trips are infrequent but I’m on the water for three or four hours at least. Space is also a consideration.
