Hey Guy's,

I want to upgrade the treble hooks I use on my Anchovy Teaser Heads in the off season. I read some other threads but I can't decide. I really like Gamakatsu hooks for there Single 510 on my spoons and Hoothies but when I look at the list of treble hooks availble on there website I have no idea what type or size to use. Anybody have a recomendation? I was thinking about going for the barbless version

yes Gamakatsu sorry
, and yes they tend ta break down faster , but well worth the changeout every few outtings ,
i rinse all my gear down after , they hold up pretty good actually
there light , seem ta help the roll to me...

Something else to add is that, wen I used those hooks, after I would sharpen them I will color the silver with a red sharpie. Seems to help keep the rust down. a little. Come to think of it I have been battling the roll ever since I switched to double single set up fro those hooks.

RB series

there definately not the strongest lol, they bend a bit , never lossed a fish to a straight hook , there super light ,
create a great roll on smaller baits

Maruto, chisel point, barbless with ridges for a small amount of hold

I had marutos and gamies straighten out on me this season which lost me a couple nice fish. I don`t think i will be going back to those. I picked up some vmc trebles for next season. We`ll see how they perform.

X2,Finally. I switched to VMC 8650 Perma Steels this year and like them alot. Owners are really nice as well but man
are they pricey!!

Have you tried the GuidePro Bait Bones? Very cool stainless insert, you just insert the wire into the bait head - gone are the days of drilling holes and messing around with attaching the wire. Very cool invention. AJ who makes the Jug Head has these little beauties.
