Toquart Launch and Parking

Going up to Barkley Sound Lodge for a few days after Labour Day. We were planning on launching at Torquart and leaving our vehicles/trailers there for a few days. Interested in any comments on this plan - parking availability and security.

Just got back from up there. they have people staying at launch for security. Never had any problems and parking will be plentiful at that time I would expect. We never had any issues from past years before the closure either. To note is that the crappy "Chinese asphalt on the big hill right off the highway is a mess. After that the road was ok.

Is the marina at Toquart not operating anymore, what about the campground? Any info appreciated, thanks in advance.

Thanks anyways I called a buddy and asked him about Toquart. He says there's been some issues at the marina with a couple of boats stolen. He said it's not being very well run these days. Don't shoot the messenger, he has a place in Salmon Beach and used to keep his boat at Toquart.

Was just parked there for two weeks. Came back no problems truck trailer all safe. Buy Parking buy the week it is cheaper than daily.
