Toquart Bay mid June?

Has anyone fished out of Toquart Bay mid June? I have been there later in the summer and the fishing was great, but this year may go in mid-June and wondering what I could expect and if I would need to go offshore then or is fishing good in the Sound.

Fishing in Mid June can be fantastic, if you are willing and able to go where the fish are, and that may be in the sound or off shore. There will be good fishing somewhere if you can travel. I don't recall great action in Toquart at that time.

my buddy runs out of his place in Salmon Beach mid June every year... does great, 15-22lbs average... usually a little offshore...

Mid June can be great fishing. Great Bear Rock, Sail Rock, Austin Island (one of my favourites just inside), Meares Bluff, for inside. The Turtle head is just a little ways offshore and can be good as well. So many places to fish..........that's why it's called fishing.
