Toothpicks

Just wondering who out there pegs there corkies with toothpicks and who doesn't, and why?
I personally do not peg my corky, mostly out of laziness. I use yarn as well on the hook and wonder, am I actually presenting two different offerings, while a pegged corky only presents one??

I dont peg my corkies i use wool no need for a toothpic anymore:)
I hate dealing with a toothpic if they get wet

I peg sometimes and sometimes i dont. I have found that occasionly my corkie is floating above my hook, with or without yarn. Laziness usually stops me from pegging, i only do it when i get the whim to.

On a side note, i have been using DNE floats, and my toothpicks have been breaking off inside the plastic tube!! Pain in the butt! Same thing has happened on a couple corkies......

always had better luck no peg......and it was always low water when i pulled out the corkies and spin and glows.....

Nope you don't peg the spin and glow you have a bead above the SnG and ped that. that way the SnG doesn't get too far from the hook.
