Tomic Spoons

Does anyone have any experience with them?

I hear lots of chatter about coyotes and silver horde (own several myself as well)...but very little on Tomics.

I'm tempted to order a few for the customization of the colours and since their plugs are a high quality product.

I figure there can't be that much difference between the various makes...the size and colour will be the bigger influence on whether or not they catch fish.

I think the majority of serious off-shore WCVI anglers have big tomic spoons in their asenal. I like the 6 inch pilchard, green and cream and the cop car. Usually fished without a flasher or maybe a dummy and they seem to work well in late july and august

Retail stores don't like the fact tomic sells direct to customers. So they don't stock as many, and use there buyin groups to get stock.New copcar 512 spoon out this year ,red eye and tomic stamped into the silver side.3.5 is slimmer than gibs .heard stainless shinny hooks are a thing of the past ,unless you find them and do it yourself.

Pretty sure their glow paint stayed luminous longer than the others when I did a comparison a year or so ago.

I know a guy who only fishes the 5" 513 on one side and 513ac on the other, no flashers, no dummies all summer. He catches plenty. I have lots of 5" and 6" including the above and 546, 602, 780. My biggest fish was on a 6" 500 last year behind a flasher.
I also like the big Matrixx spoons because they work and are half the price.

I have lots of them and use them for offshore fishing 99% of the time. The larger ones are nice and I tend to fish them without a flasher but work fine behind one as well. I use to think the larger spoons would slow the Coho down a bit but when they are thick on the bank not much stops them...lol I do fish other brands of spoons but I find with the numbers of fish that can be caught offshore on a good day that the Tomics have held up well....IMO. The other reason I get them is I like the idea of placing an order and have the ability to customize it to a large part. Not going to say they outfish other tackle especially offshore where most tackle will work somewhat.....but they seem to work well and hold up....not to mention a crazy amount of colors to choose from to catch the eye of most tackle junkies!

I did get some of my favourite patterns in 3.5 inch as well and like them. These are a few next to 6 inch spoons.

I use them and like them. They are high quality spoons. Their smaller Roadrunner spoons have a unique action that is deadly, especially for coho's

Tomic is a lot like American Express.

I don't leave home without them!

They catch fish. The quality is light years beyond a coyote or silver horde. And c'mon. Designed, made and fished right in your Canadian back yard. Why wouldn't you have a few!

I look at the tomic website and it makes me want to spend lots of money on their stuff. Very innovative and made in BC. I got a a bunch of plugs a while ago and I can't wait to fish them next season! The TNT looks interesting too... I'd like to try that. Good quality gear!

Great quality product. I never fish the wcvi without my case full of em. Codfather is the master with Tomics. Would be great if he's provide some of his tips.
