I tied up a new faux-chovie. I think it looks pretty good. Blue, green, red and white polar bear fur, fake polar glow, glow rubber lace, peacock, blue ostrich, crystal flash.
I was going to run 2 single hooks set up like a hoochie. Could go in any anchovies teaser head.
How about a strip of Mylar tape tied in on each side in the middle of the fly, so that it has some "flash"? A good pattern, but you've already used a teaser head for action, now give it the money.
Fish Stalker - I plan to run it like a standard anchovie behind a flasher for chinook. I'll certainly try with just a single hook for some bucktailing coho on the surface too. That's why the bucktail part doesn't have any hooks; so that I can run it with different combos. double hooks for coho is a pain. It's actually tied on a small chunk of shishkibob skewer.
Drewski, I used some crystal flash in there. You can't see it in the picture, but it does have a good amount of flash/sparkle to it. A little more couldn't hurt though!
You might try tying them on a short length of clear plastic tubing. Then you can use them like a tube fly and run the leader and hooks up through the center of the fly.
