Just got back from 2 months in Arizona (great trip) and low and behold there are a bunch of invoices from the COAST GUARD or some air port in Thunder Bay now threatening me that they gonna get GOVERNMENT OF CANADA to collect my delinquent invoices!!! Compound interest and all that.
What is hapening? are you guys just rolling over and paying or are there some backbones out there that are going to force the issue? I dont want to be the only holdout as they will roll over one guy with no problem.

im not paying as well as a lot of other guides havent even gotten a letter....
let them take it all the way im not fricken paying it....

I have quite the collection of MNSF invoices as well, seems pretty random, many legit outfits with C number registered boats are getting them, and just as many with a C number are not. I pushed hard with the chief registar of TC to change it to a 25 dollar fleet rental fee as mentioned on here. Not a bloody chance, as this is a CG specific fee.

Not paying it.

I have a nice collection too. The stamp to send another copy to me is worth more than the interest they apply for not paying. Sounds like the government.
