Throttle/Shift cables 1993 Mercury 9.9hp

Hey guys I have a 17.5 Tyee and I want to be able to control my kicker speed from the helm. I have the steering attachment which connects to my main power however it is such a pain to always adjust the speed on my kicker using the tiller arm. I want to run new throttle and shift cables up to my help from the kicker. There is not much room for a throttle lever near the helm so not sure what to do. Maybe get a "mini" lever. Not sure if thats possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience?

look at the poor mans i troll

rc servo , servo tester , disc arm , 12v to 7.2-6.4v step down transformer .
20' lengthy of 3-4 core cable ,,, bit of time and make shift bracket to mount the servo and linkage ....
all available for ebay prob 60-100 bucks

Just look for an electric start/remote control kicker and sell your tiller model. With careful shopping you'll be able to make the switch for very little extra, probably less than what you'd spend on an iTroll. Mount the controls for the kicker right behind the controls for the main, can run either from the helm.
