Online Weather Network......

Seems to give pretty detailed reports for local area weather......hour by hour, 7 day, 36 hours for wind, weather, POP etc etc......

I haven't used it enough to know whether they are pretty good, bad or whatever........

Anybody here use them on a constant basis?

If so........verdict?

Id say its 75% accuracy. If it says chance of showers and 20% precipitation its not going to rain.

I agree with RS - particularly after this past weekend.

seems to be not too shabby most of the time in my experience...

Environment Canada's forecast should use a probability percentage. It looks like to me that if the weather is going to be very good with a high probability of say90% then the forecast will read fairly good. As soon as the probability of bad weather arises even at a low percentage of probability then you get a forecast for the worse. Even tho the probability is so low. For this reason I feel that EC should add a probability percentage if they are going to jack around with the data so much. That's my take on it.
I think it's fair to say that most weather sites generate weather data from the same sources and distribution of that data is in each site format even tho generally the message is the same ... With the exception of EC. Lol.
I like the weather network.
