Fishing at Renfrew a number of years ago, saw the flasher swim by, and chased it around for 15 minutes, finally netted it while it was holding in the shadow of our boat! Barbed hooks too.
looks like a gooder to me but any fish looks good right now with the poor/spotty reports we been getting Dan. On another note to the start of this thread, free gear is always good, if someone is hiking in east sooke park if you see my green onion flasher in a tree, shew the eagle away that took it and return to me LOL. Damn seal got half a fish, and eagle got the other half
I have! watched mine swim by; a"guide" ran over my gear & then snagged my fish on his line.He had the audacity to claim it was his fish; after he landed it...he turned around & unhooked my tangled gear, threw it in the water,tried to hide it,figured I was blind...
