I've been offered the Newton Cove Lodge for Aug 05 checkout the 07th for 130.00 a day total 260.00. Check out their website We get these deals between the corporate clients from time to time but this is a prime fishing slot. We launch at Gold River and run out to the lodge so it's pavement all the way. The price includes all the amenities of the lodge and meals. If interested book through the lodge but mention you are part of "The Lucky Tiger group." .my boat name.. for the special pricing,
Cheers,
Perry

Newton Cove Lodge is an excellent location and this is really great price for all that you get. We've been going there for 4 straight seasons now...minutes from Rosa, sell bait etc. and there are some real pluses over others in the area..lots more room, sheltered moorage, food is amazing.

In 2007 at this week in Aug. my boat brought in a 50 + lb. salmon off Rosa's just 5 minutes from the lodge then we went offshore and caught our limits plus a 67 lb. hali. the 130.00 a day is Can. funds and is less than I spent sharing a room in the Nootka area last year without meals. Six slots left...tic toc...tic toc

Lot's of talk about the same closure as '08 of chinook <77cm inside the surfline effective July15th.for area 25.
DFO have yet to make an announcement.DNA sampling in Esperanza have shown to be mainly Conuma Hatchery stock.Could be some good news for sporties planning trips to Esperanza.

I have not figured how to post a picture here but will send on to your e-mail. Post it if you know how. I was heading off shore at first light and saw a boat with a fish on and decided to try Rosa's for quick pass. I put down a hootchie one one downrigger with a anchovie on the other at 45 ft. and a long line over 100 ft at 20 ft. depth with a 5 in. tominc plug. It hit the plug right away and was Bob's first salmon and darned if he didn't get the halibut as well.

here you go
