Summer Renfrew fishing

Fo a few years now I have fished Renfrew with reasonable success. We have always used Chovies because they work. Has anyone had success on Pilchards, Pilchard plugs, whole herring, herring strip or herring plugs? I don't even know of there is a plug for anchovies. Spoons work sometimes but have no confidence in them. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Large tomic plugs were working for us on Swiftsure last summer--standard patterns--109, 153, 111--down deep.

I have little experience with plugs so will have to look tiers up. I've heard close to bottom can be the key out there. Up to 200 feet deep

I fish bait only when fishing the beach......unless I run out...lol As for the Bank goes......pretty much anything works but I tend to use Tomic spoons and plugs (6"). The larger gear helps to keep some of the Coho away since I'm not really targeting them. Here is my standard ones that I fish......but some definitely are better than others at times......I have yet to catch anything on the 602 keychain however.....lol Cheers!
