I'm In the Market To Buy a 2nd sturgeon rod and reel. My current setup is a amundson savvy sumo rod and shimano tld 20. I love the rod not a fan of the tld.

So I'm looking for a new reel what do u recommend in the $300 range.

Lots of options but a step up from the tld's will likely be over 300 bucks.

Get a new handle for the TLD and it'll be like a new reel-EBay has a number of vendors of different models.
