Steveston Marine Vancouver store new look.

Have you been to the Vancouver Steveston Marine outlet lately? They’ve permanently shut down the Richmond location and moved all the stock to the Vancouver location. Now it looks more like a proper marine supply store, but it still has that slightly messy, unkempt appeal you know and love.

Apparently the rent was too high in Richmond so they let the building go.

But the absorbent prices remain and the mediocre attitude of staff is still embedded in their core values. It’s all we got tho. A city with 3M people. Hard to understand how someone else couldn’t compete against them.

if you know your prices and the store price is not what you’ve seen on their online page, challenge them at the till.

I always walk in there ready to tell someone to go to hell.

My favourite part is all the stainless fasteners. Helped me out many times. There are deals sometimes but I agree on high prices. I also don’t understand the disorder of the store. A little more effort and it could be a great place to shop.

I went in last week. It still has a wierd vibe.

I have found that if you are going to buy something price check all of the same items .

Last week 2 of the books I bought had two prices, old stock and new stock, I saved 7 bucks by price checking inventory. I find this price variation on many purchases

That’s definitely been like that for at least a decade lol. I mentioned that in a thread a while back, and it seems a lot of people on here know the discount program
