Spro Swimming Jigs......thoughts?

I saw these online and couldn't resist.
Three 7 oz jigs or four 3oz for $10
Gamagatsu hooks and interesting details.
However I dont expect that they will last very long as they are plastic.
Do you think these 7 ozers may work for Halis?
Worthwhile putting stinger hooks on the front eyelet?

I would throw a tuna skirt or large squid above the jig with a scent canister in the skirt head. Maybe throw on a treble, I like lots of hook for them. They would hit that.

7 ounces is a bit light for Hali deeper than 80 feet, especially if the area has any current running, let alone a tide. However, they could be great on a bait ball like the riptide / norse zeldas / Zingers. With the decision NOT to take all the herring this winter by the commercial guys, there may be the bait balls of yesteryear this summer.

It would help if there was more glow options available, especially for deeper jigging, and a heavier choice in say 12 - 16 ounce for bottom fish. Also, as it has a plastic body, incorporating a scale pattern with a mylar tape insert would have been cool.
