Sports fisherman injured in boating accident appeals for return of stolen wheelchair hoist

I have first hand experience with this in that 40ish years ago our family built one for my father, who absolutely loved it and enabled him to go fishing. I think whom ever stole this hoist should really give his/her head a shake and since they took the legs out from this person, the same should be done to them when caught .......... If your a bleeding heart and think maybe the person taking it didn't know what it was , Thats BULL **** !, he/she just figured what it could be used for.
My 55 years experience have proven to me that some people , some ! Just don't give a damn about the challenges people have DAILY when mobility challenged, I have absolutely no consideration for their excuses, heard them all before)
Sorry for the rant !

Thefts this time of year are the worst. Hopefully, this lift makes its way back to its owner ASAP. I imagine he's spreading the word online, via Facebook (Marketplace), craigslist, etc.

EXACTLY! - that's why I posted the article, BB. I was hoping we'd pass it on - esp. those posters/fishermen in the lower Mainland & Ladner - could pass it on on their FB pages, and the like.

Dec 14 VPD dispatch calls. Overdoses then thefts. In that order. That’s what we’re dealing with here In Vancouver. There are no consequences for thieves. We are headed down the path of ‘no charges for poverty crimes”.

We’re there already. Our society as a whole is headed into the *******. Maybe I’m just old but I remember when you had to work for what you wanted. And don’t even get me started on the free dope and needles fiasco

Done by the guys the media and politicians call the "most vulnerable". They're also offered free housing and the front of the line for covid vaccine and soon they'll receive free narcotics. What a wonderful group of citizens we are to continue voting for politicians who enable this stuff!

Just recently their is a motion being brought on by I think the Provincial Govt to provide funds for people who get charged for not wearing masks in public places , WHAT IS THAT ABOUT ? So we fine them , then we pay for their fines , Only in BC eh, I think maybe WAY TO much cannabis is being consumed :)
Got a source for this sir-vivor ?
