sooke diversion dam

I used to go to the Sooke Diversion dam for trout fishing this time of year from the Jordan river access road. This road was washed out 2 years ago. Can anyone tell me if that road is opened again???
Not sue how to get there by a diiferent route??

Used to fish Elliot res. thats the smaller one closer to Jordan River. The fish were bigger than the other 2, its hard to get down to but if you do watch out for logs that are hung up on the top of the banks from high water. Had a couple come crashing down at us, one was so big it would have flattened the guy i was with(just ask ward at isl outfitters). Anyways that was over 20 yrs ago. There was a road on the other side (china beach) that went closer to the dam.Good luck!

Isn't that whole watershed closed for fishing? You better check the regs.
