SOLD. Alvey 5” reel with box and paperwork

Looks new to me. Spooled up with line but don’t think it’s ever been fished. Has all the decals intact and comes with the owners manual and box. Box is rough. Paperwork is all there but the staple to hold the booklet together rusted away. Taking offers close to $80 or will trade for ocean tackle.

I caught my first big spring when I was 12 or so cutplugging camper creek on the same reel brought back some memories here!!

Hey I have that exact same reel! I pulled it out of storage and replaced a Shimano that wouldn't set the drag properly. Simple and after all these years works as good as new.
