What's the word on the sox this weekend? Come on all you sockeye slayers. What's the best plan of attack? This forum is about sharing for all, not selected friends. Let's help each other maximize our fishing experience.

That's what I'm talkin' bout Clooch...plan of attack EM, try $10 bills in the IR and you will slay them. Then go somewhere on the WC and nail some smilies!!

For those who buy fish you are worse then those who catch them for a food fishery <img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle> and sell them for ????? When all the river systems have little returns and the only people that have the right to fish them are the natives look in the mirror and you will see you were part of the problem!!! The fishing is fine the problem is everone is spoiled from years past. The good news is 3 years from now, look out with 4 times the annual numbers getting through to date due to a rain in june. Nature has rebuilt a run that was hit hard in 2002 due to a very low river system and heavy netting of the river. I talk to people that are limiting quite often. Spend the time, get the reward!!! I love fishing and want to fish for years to come and so does my son thats why I have such a strong " OPINION " Just my thoughts !!!

Cheers ME

Happy Hookin!!!

With the cool weather and the little sky-water of this past week, sockeye haven't been exactly brilliant in the Inlet. That said, I've spoken with several ladz who've managed to limit over the past couple of days, nearly all using the small spoon / false flasher technique.
There's well over 100,000 up the flow already, and more here right now. Those in the know will likely do allright. I'll be out there again over the weekend, looking for some FUN on the light gear!

The escapement to date is EXCELLENT! Yes, we gave up some opportunities last month, and yes it has been a tad trying to work them. BUT this bodes extremely well for three years hence, and the main run is yet to arrive. This weekend? Certainly hoping!!

See ya on the Pond...

Cheers,
Nog

thanx nog, trying to decide between a morning venture to the inlet or to sooke.
