Smart meters...what about Comox Valley water meters...

So I've been diligently saving water, well not really, but thinking about it, since the regional district installed the meters here last fall. Got my first pseudo bill today and find out that there is a $25 per month minimum charge...........$300 per year !! Granted that is less than the $435 flat rate I paid them last year, but if we don't use a drop, still going to cost $300 !!

Hey Lazoman, I live in Comox and I am in the process of having a watering system installed in our yard and flower beds. We spoke directly to the City of Comox and were assured that there are NO WATER METERS being installed in Comox........ at this time......
