Shearwater Lodging

I've been dating a gal who doesn't know it yet, but I'm hoping to get her up north next summer ifor a Central Coast thing. My boat's too small for extended camping for 2 people so I'm thinking of lodging up in Shearwater

What would be the best option for a DIY: bring your own boat, so would need:

dock space/tie up + bed + kitchenette .... Is that a happening thing in Shearwater or Bella Bella?

I've heard Whiskey Jack mentioned on this site but know nothing about what they offer

Thanks

It's Whiskey Cove and you can rent a BB Room or you own Private Cabin. They have a outdoor Hot Tub and Dock. We rented the cabin a few years back. The Owner's were great and it is a little more secluded than Shearwater. You can boat or walk to Shearwater. They even had a jeep you could borrow. Most BB people are gov't types paying a call to Bella Bella. Nice Spot and your boat should be secure at night as everyone knows everyone in the bay there as opposed to Shearwater where you are a little more exposed, yes theft happens even in the middle of nowhere.

Trevor (CCA) bought Whiskey Cove I believe...during peak season his clients stay there but he did build a new log house there and may have room to rent for a few nights, but I know the log house and cabin were rented year round by BC Ferries and Telus or something like that last year...not sure about this year. May be able to get in there though, nice place and would impress the lady friend that you are stalking... (way it reads sounds like she doesn't know you're dating her yet ha ha ha) :D :D

I was calling around a couple weeks ago to all the cabins and shearwater and everything is booking up fast so I wouldn't wait too long.
