I'm always looking for little tricks and tips to be better organized when I'm on the water. My feeling is fishing time is for fishing, not tying gear creating down time. So, I'm hoping others out there would be interested in sharing tips.
I'll start the ball rolling. One of my pet peaves is wasting time tying hoochies on the water. I came across these plastic file organizers at Staples, and the file jackets with tabs you can label. What I do is tie up hoochies and put them into zip lock bags then place a dozen at a time into a file jacket then file each jacket. The advantage of this system is your stuff is in a semi waterproof container (no rust issues), and when you need a particular hoochie you aren't stumbling around looking - just look inside the tabbed folder.
Any other great tips out there?
