SFBC - New Forum Proposal

Wondering if we can start a new forum within the Sport Fishing BC site for discussions on Closures, Conservation, Activism and the like and move our conversations there? It seems like the Fishing Forum is less and less about fishing lately. I don't disagree with any of the healthy dialogue, just wondering out loud whether there is merit holding these conversations in a new forum - or in the General Discussions forum?
 
I agree, altough these discussions are related to saltwater
fishing, they do not directly regard actual fishing tactics, gear, current reports etc.
They should be under a different header I.M.O.
 
We will look into it as I do not want to loose the focus of making ALL sportfisherman aware of what is truly going on and how they SHOULD become involved if we want to see fishing in the future. However for now will move them all to general.

My Escape , I agree , don't want members to lose focus , this thread will eventually slide down and out of the first page , I think some of the casual readers that don't visit often as some , might think the issue(s) had went away ,or no one gives a damn anymore ?? notify them that a new forum on these issues is in place !! Could you not somehow place a temporary notice , that would stay at the top of the page on " Saltwater Forum " some how , maybe a month or 2 , until all knows that there is new forum for these important issues , just an idea , if it's easy !!cheers FD;)

Great job guys - once again.

These changes are going to make a major difference to the usefulness of the forums. Now I will be able to waste even more time at work reading and dreaming about fishing.
