great read

im still wiping drool off my lips from reading. had a hard time picking between tofino and port hardy for my first self guided trip out to the island. everyone raves about your trips on the alberta board. hope you have another great season. if were having a tough go out at tofino we might have to stop over for a few days.

Fishing is just as good in Tofino as anywhere

thats what im hoping for. will be there 3rd week in july. have only fished up north with bait so i will be stoping into your shop for some tackle and mabe a few tips. been doing as much research as possible and am counting down the days.

That is Jay that has the shop but at that time of year you'll get tired of catching Chinooks after a couple of days. They usually are super thick then. Any technique that works for you willl work here.

What kind of boat do you have? The bigger the better in case the sea is a little big.

23ft sea ox cuddy walk around. going to mexico in march to pick it up then have until june to rig it before we head up to rupert for some big chinooks. did great out of my 17ft up there last year but didn't want to venture out too far.
