Seattle Boat Show

Anyone else checking out the Seattle show this year? Ditching work Friday and heading down with my old man , how does this show stack up against the Vancouver show?

Went today. A place had new Islander MR3 s for $450.00 best deal I have ever seen. I would have gotten one but can only use one real at a time and already have one.

Really good deal if you live in BC and that was in CAD $ but not quite as great if you live BC and travel to Seattle to purchase with conversion now: lets just say you used your credit card to purchase the reel in Seattle that would be US conversion plus credit card's conversion fee of about 2.5% so that reel would have cost you about $520 CAD plus consider the travel costs to get there from Van or Van Isle ( if the main reason of trip going was to purchase gear/tackle cheaper)

Also, you left out the 9.5% Seattle sales tax. I believe that's a good bit more than the BC GST.
