Sea Bream - Catch & Release

are they tasty? how do you cook them generally? fried? baked? just curious. ever have any sharks follow them in? I think I'd be a bit apprehensive in a kayak with sharks around... hehe,

Bream are a very bland white fish here in the Med. Cooked baked or fried, and needs lots of lemon juice. Not much flavor imo. I bet they'd be fun to catch though. If I am craving fin fish over here, I prefer sardines, anchovies or Red Mullet as those all have better flavor...although I can never help but think every time I pop an anchovy in my mouth, what good bait that would be for a big ol' Chinook! God I miss home...:p
