Scotty riser mounts

Any experience good/bad with the Scotty riser mounts (6"). I need to raise the height of my riggers to clear the gunnels. I could also opt for some custom welded plates but this seems like a much 'easier' solution.

They're solid

Used a 1 foot riser for years - rock solid.
