If it's a mechanical service and not electrical they are very easy to tear down clean up and reassemble, even with minimal mechanical ability. Save yourself some cash!
I would recommend trying to do on your own if it’s nothing to crazy........ I have had to make numerous adjustments or servicing from time to time on my riggers while fishing and if I didn’t learn how to do myself then that means downtime
I agree with trying to figure it out if you have time. They will send you the parts (sometimes for free) and help you through it.
I emailed Scott Plastics last year and they said the closest true service center is in Abbotsford.
