Scotty 1085 rod holder placement??

So guys running the 1085 or other scotty riggers with the boom clamp mount rod master holders how far from the spool is the mount/clamp and holder mounted? 12" - 15"??

Not sure about an exact measurement as I'm a few days away from my boat. I did find this picture from running back in from Swiftsure a few years ago and happens to have a good profile of the holder. These are 30" if that helps at all.....

thanks Slim by that pic looks to be atleast 5 to 8" from the downrigger ball hook
