Salmon Fishing Long Weekend

Looking to take my boys away this weekend for some camping and salmon fishing. Last year we didn't Port Hardy and Quatsino Sound. Looking for some options this year. Action would be great on the Salmon front as I have two younger boys with me. Thanks in advance for any advice. You can alwaysn pm me if you prefer.

Meant to say last we did Port Hardy and Quatsino Sound. Don't know how to edit posts on this board.

Earlier in the year the more north you go usually means better fishing for salmon...so P Hardy and Quatsino should be your best bet.

Thanks SG. How has it been up your way? The boys loved the camping in Port Hardy and Quatsino Sound nice size for my boat. We got a few Salmon last year, but the general impression I was left with is it was really early to expect much. Is the action decent right now?

Looks like we're going to head back up Port Hardy way. May fish a day in Campbell River or Telegraph Narrows on the way up. Anyone been out that way at all?
